Wizkid, Tiwa Savage , Fireboy, Omah Lay nominated for NAACP Image awards 2022

Nigerian music stars, Wizkid, Fireboy, Tiwa Savage, and Omah Lay has been nominated for National Association for Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP) Image Awards 2022.

The Nigerian stars were nominated on Tuesday night for the NAACP Image Awards in Outstanding International Song category.

Nigerian Music Diva, Tiwa Savage’s “Somebody’s Son”, featuring Brandy, gained her nomination, while Kidi and Omah Lay received nominations for their song, “Touch it”, and “understand” respectively.

Wizkid was nominated for his “Essence”, featuring Tems and Justin Bieber, while Fireboy DML got the nomination from his hit song, “Peru”.

The award is said to be aired on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, at 8:00 PM ET/PT on BET hosted seven-time NAACP Image Awards winner, Anthony Anderson.
